Sometimes the engraving gets really messed up! But since this doesn't affect the pick's performance at all, from time to time we offer them as "seconds". We try to make it clear that the pick is not a first-run pick by putting some subtle markings on it to indicate that it is a second. Keep your eye on the site to watch for our "Seconds Sales" that we have every few months. These picks will go for $15, a 25% discount over normal retail (Gypsy-Jazz picks are higher).
