Good News!

After a few years of research and development we have finally come up with a material which is an alternative to our standard pick material. The requirements we sought for this new line of picks were simple - deliver the same great tone and have the same comfortable feel as or regular picks while possessing unbeatable strength and warp-resistance. We feel that we have found that material. After months of beta-testing by some of the industry's top players, we are ready to roll out the new line. The tone and feel have been confirmed in our tests. These picks are as good sounding as our standard line. They last and last, and are basically worry-free. In blind tests they were indiscernable from our standard line. The material is ivory in color.

During our tests we found that if necessary, the edges can be touched up nicely with a piece of leather used as a "strop" (use the rough side) or one of our Pick Maintenance Kits. These new picks do not sport a high-gloss finish yet they are as smooth as silk and slide off the strings very nicely. These picks are currently available in heavy and medium gauge. They can be had in all our shapes, with any of our bevel options, and of course, with or without grips. These picks have a property which makes them seem much thinner than they are. We're not sure what that is, but it may be the density. They just seem lighter in gauge than they actually are.

We have medium gauge material in stock now. This material is 1.25mm thick. We also have heavy gauge which is 1.65mm thick.

Are they tough enough? You bet. These picks aren't going to warp or break on you anytime soon. They will pick up some discoloration from your guitar strings. When this happens, simply wash them with soap and water. Go ahead and run them through the washer and dryer! No problem! Keep them in your pocket full of change - see if we care! Due to the relative ease with which we can turn this material into picks, the cost is only $10.00 each. Our logo is embossed on one side just as with our original line. We don't offer them in custom shapes or with custom engraving yet. Once we get fully tooled up to handle this new material, we will offer those features as well. Available exclusively from us.
